he began to feel rather strange and pulled back from her, sitting on the bed with a pillow over him,
"So should be go by ship or a smaller boat?"

she looked over at him as he sits on the bed
"everything ok there?"
she though about his question
"i would say ship would be best"

"Erm yeah, just fine... male problems and such",
he gave an awkward laugh,
"I guess we should go gather the others and get a ship"

she shook her head
"well then we should get going"
she grabbed her satchel and right before she walks out the door she looked back at him
"best to take care of that before we head out"
she winked and closed the door behind her

He went red then stood up, luckily being recovered and followed her out.

Take care of it? I would rather her do it...

fay walks in the room arthur and stake are in
"how are you two doing, you ready to leave? we best be on our way soon"

Flint appeared a short distance behind her,
"Also do any of you know where we can get a cheap ship?"

Stake nodded, smiling, and Arthur stood up.

"We can take my research ship, the Athena. It's currently in port, and I was looking for an excuse to use it..."

He then raised a green eyebrow.
"And how are you two..."lovebirds", I believe the humans say it as... doing today? Any intercourse, any foreplay, any physical erogenous stimulation?"

Flint looked at Arthur with a blank expression,
"Say what does your ship look like? That way I can still take it should I be needing to dispose of you...",
he chuckled at his cruel joke

fay shook her head looking at arthur
"you dont know when to stop do you, as a matter of fact we have decided to take things a bit slow"

He lowered his eyebrow.
"Well, slow and steady wins the race. And I'd be careful, boy - I wouldn't get any funny ideas about stealing my boat seeing as I'm the only being in existence who can sail it. So just keep that in mind..."

Stake flexed his new muscles. "Shall we go?"

"Sure, best go before dark..."

fay gestured for them to go ahead
"lead the way then"

"Of course..."

Arthur led them through the forest, back into the town, to the port and to a very small ship, still large enough to be called a ship but hardly the stuff of legends.
"Not great, but gets the job done. All aboard."

Flint climbed aboard then offered his hand to Fay, to help her up

fay takes his hand and climbs aboard the ship
"well it beats swimming to our destination so i cant complain"

"And its free...",
he looks at Arthur,
"It is free right? no hidden catches?"

Arthur rolled his eyes.
"You don't trust me? When I've been nothing but honest about my enterprises?"

"Not so much you... more your placement of peep holes"

"No peep holes. I promise the only ones there are naturally occurring due to warps in the wood."

His hands touched the wheel - and fused with it, turning to wood with it, the previously immobile wheel starting to move...

"So... what now?"

fay shrugs
"i guess we wait til we get there"
she rummages though her satchel pulling out a book
"i guess ill read a bit, unless you have something else in mind"
she looks up at flint

He shook his head,
"Unless you fancy making out in the corner, nope",
he laughed at his poor joke

The sails billowed and the ropes detached seemingly of their own volition. Then the ship began moving forwards, parts of it shifting as though it was worked by ghosts.

"Advantages of being a homunculus... among many..."

fay thought for a moment
"why a corner? we can simply do that anywhere"
