Jroensbane let out a shout of surprise at Sauriel's flare, and was heard oomphing and owching in pain inside the meteor shower.
However, when Victoria started biting into his neck again, he firmly dragged her off, snapped her spine over his knee, and hurled her into Sauriel and Semira, knocking them over.
He emerged from the smoke, without even his solitary loincloth being scathed.
"Ah..." he sighed, sounding pleased. "Haven't had a massage that good for a while."

Cryth gawked. "This guy's un-damn-stoppable! He just shrugged that off like it was next to nothing."
Jokan gritted his teeth. "That demon knew a way to stop him. He CAN be stopped. We just have to figure out how."
The demon started advancing on them again, far more slowly. "Hopefully, quickly."

The two demons were now inches from the stranger.
"Turn. Out. Your. Pockets."
Both of them bared their gigantic fangs. "Now."

Pulling a needle from a pocket of her coat, Newi carefully took Decoda's arm. "A small poke." She said absently after tying a rubber band around her upper arm. She pushed the needle expertly into Decoda's vein then attached the collection vial. As the cylinder filled with dark red blood, Newi asked, "So, Miss Angel, if this comes back as half and half, would you like me to give you a purifying transfusion? What do the two of you want from the Gray? We're just a small collection of outcast scientists."

Shards of metal flew explosively in all directions as Fenrir broke free from the bindings Rail had wrapped him in. His wolf form glared down at them and he snarled. Already with a new length of chain, she charged in swinging it over here head. Putting one arm up, Fenrir caught the chain as it wrapped around his arm and pulled, dragging Rail towards him. One fast kick sent her tumbling back to where Noise stood trying to concentrate on folding the slightly colored walls into some vague shape. Her breathing was heavy as she moved her hands, the thing before her bending at ninety degree angles.
"Keep stalling him, Ana." Noise gasped.
"I can't slow him down forever!"
"Almost have it."
Fenrir charged both of them and Rail launched herself at him. She'd coiled a group of chains together at one end and swung the increased weight twice before loosing it. The weight hit Fenrir full in the chest knocking him down. Wasting no time she rushed him and began swinging with her improvised mace again and again until he caught it and tore it apart with his claws. The crack and snap of mending bones filled the large space and then a painful oof as Rail hit a light fixture and fell to the hard floor. Looking at the concentrating Noise, Fenrir did the best approximation of a grin and quickly covered the distance.
"Try escaping from this!" She said and engulfed Fenrir in cage she had created.
Fenrir rebounded as he hit the sudden wall and lay on the floor of the cage. Breathing deeply, Noise sank to her knees.
"Not as easy as you make it look?" Noise didn't respond. She was too busy watching the caged werewolf.
"He's breaking out." Noise said as he began to savagely attack the walls that enclosed him. Each blow caused her to flinch slightly as she exerted more pressure to hold the cage together. In order to save energy she broke the elaborate cage she had made into a simple box with a few layers.
"Try making it smaller?" Rail suggested.
Noise did just that, slowly putting the squeeze on Fenrir. With another wolf grin, Fenrir stopped his movements as he ran out of space to move in. Suddenly without warning he shot out with a savage pierce. Noise froze in concentration as the first two layers were easily penetrated. Eyes closed she put as much strength into holding the wall together as she could. It was a battle of strength, and one that she was losing. Tearing holes in the fabric of space time was somehow much easier than maintaining physical prisms. The pressure suddenly vanished and noise let out a breath as she relaxed.
The sound of shattering glass echoed in the quiet space, and Noise looked up suddenly. Fenrir calmly stepped out of the now destroyed back wall and sauntered calmly around the manifested object. In vain Noise attempted to recapture him but he kept ahead of the flying box at every movement. Utterly exhausted from the ordeal, Noise erased the thing from existence and slumped on the ground, panting.
Fenrir continued his slow walk. Rail, seeing that her sister needed rest, stepped in front of her, holding a reinforced chain like a bo staff. Jumping into his attack, Fenrir was blocked an angel, made up of shadows blocked his razor sharp claws with a lance.
"What is this?" A female voice called from behind the werewolf. "A hear we have guests and come to find you trying to kill them?"
The speaker was revealed to be an angel who walked slowly down the metal steps to the main floor. Her eyes never left the now transforming Fenrir. Resting on one shoulder was a large iron shod club.

"I just want to know for sure." Decoda replied, her white eyes watching Newi. "I do not want to change my blood. There is a reason why I have it, and I must learn to live as I am. Nothing ever worth doing is ever easy...at least that was what I was told."

Tybalt smiled at Decoda's answer.
"I think that would be for the best, as well. We can discuss some alternatives after we get the results back."
He then looked back to Newi.
"To answer your question, I think we should talk about it later. Let's take care of the issues at hand first, then we can talk about the Grey. Speaking of..."
He looked around the room.
"...Where are Noise and Rail? We haven't heard from them in quite a while."


Sauriel groaned as he stumbled to his feet, still reeling from the impact of having Victoria thrown into him with such great force. For the first time since they began, he was beginning to doubt if they could win this fight. But his resolute stance would have never hinted at this in the slightest. He summoned his sword again and it returned to its rightful place in his hand as he turned back to Nadia.
"Nadia...The vampire...did he tell you anything that could help us defeat this creature? Anything at all that might give us some idea of what his weakness is?"
He turned back to the champion.
"Try to remember! Our lives might very well depend on it!"

Jroensbane laughed. "Is that all?"
The fireballs slammed into his face and exploded, but he paid them no heed, advancing slowly.
"Time to show off for the crowd then..."
A microsecond later, he was standing straight behind Amelia who was at the very back of the group. He picked her up by one leg and licked down it, a long purple tongue dragging a wet trail up towards her now-exposed pink panties. "Gotta give them a little teasing..."

The bed, Jokan and Cryth turned around first, being the closest to her.
As one, they all attacked. Cloth tentacles lashed out, and strange magic rocked the air.
Jroensbane blinked and sneezed blood under the onslaught, before spraying sand at them all in a kick and as the two humans were blinded, picked up the bed and swung it into them like a club, knocking them into Sauriel and Semira.
A split second later, his other hand grabbed Nadia from where she was standing next to them, teleporting up to her then back to where he'd been originally standing, holding her upside down as well so her white panties were on display as well as Amelia's. Another purple tongue emerged from his mouth and the crowd started furiously whooping and cheering as the tongues slid up their legs towards their crotches, anticipating some "off-the-record" action.

The larger demon promptly planted his foot on the stranger's chest, pinning said stranger to the ground. The crowd were now far too distracted by the lewd spectacle in the arena to pay any attention to a schmuck getting whupped.
The second opened its mouth. "I'll bite off your arm, then ask again." Its fangs opened around the stranger's right arm and prepared to bite down.

OOT: Sorry for the boring wait. Been preoccupied with beating people on a table with tiny robots.

Newi drew the blood from Decoda's body then drew two odd symbols on the sryinge tube. SHe set it down on the table and waited.
"I wonder if it'll explode..." She mused. WIthout turning her head shee answered Tybalt. "Those two are busy learning to ocntrol themselves again. The power I gave Klia might finally shatter the thing's mind. Been my goal from the beginning when she said she'd give up rationality if it was necessary"
Her eyes narrowed as she watched the liquid in the syringe begin to boil slightly.
"They're down playign witt Fenrir. They'll be done sooner or later.

"Greetings, Miss Fonn. I did not expect you to leave your hcambers today." Fenrir said calmly and bowed. Though his tone and face were calm, the stiffness of his movements showed his annoyance.
"I was feeling better today. Besides I heard that we had guests and I came to meet them." She crossed her arms as best she could while she was holding her club. "But here you are trying to kill them!"

Newi watched the syringe intently as it began to bounce on the table top. Any second now... bang. she htought.
And then the unexpected happened. Like, just get a load of this.
The syringe turned into a frog.
"Eh?" Newi said and made an odd noise.

Sauriel was knocked to the floor by the impact of having a...bed thrown into him. He slowly staggered to his feet, groaning in pain and trying desperately to get his bearings back. When he was upright again, he coughed up some blood as he picked up his sword. When he saw what the champion was doing, he was both disgusted and horrified.
"He...he could kill them at any time!"
Thinking this, he pointed his sword at the champion and called out to Semira.
"Semira...can you still stand? We need to finish this here and now! Nadia and Amelia are in danger!"
A faint glow surrounded him as he concentrated on bringing out his full power. Just a few moments later, as the glow became brighter and brighter, his sword suddenly exploded into a vortex of power and light. The air itself rushed around his blade with hurricane-force winds and the sword now shined with a divine, golden radiance that could only come from an angel of the highest order.
"This is our last chance...Semira! We have to do this together or we won't have any chance at all! Combine your power with mine!"


Tybalt's eyes went wide.
"Klia? Is that Noise or Rail? And...what do you mean by "shatter her mind," exactly?!"
He was cut off by the unexpected. He tilted his head as he looked at the newly created frog in disbelief.
"Huh? What...did you do?"

Decoda tilted her head, as the vile with her blood in it turned into a frog. She looked at Newi with a puzzled expression on her face. "Um..." her voice trailed off, as she looked from the frog, then back to Newi.

Amelia screamed when she was picked up by the beast. She squirmed, clenching her eyes shut.
"Let me go please, stop, don't hurt me"
The air started to get cold and the beings tongue started to freeze along with his hand that was holding her. Her body began to glow as she was panicking



Nadias squirmed to get out of Jroensbane grip but was unsuccessful. She let out a sigh of frustration
"Well you leave me no choice"
her body was suddenly covered in fire burning his tongue and the hand that was holding her


Semira had taken to the air when the bed was heading towards them just barely getting out of the way of being hit. When sauriel as if she was able to get up she landed next to him
"Good thing I'm a demon that can react swiftly"
she smirked. When seeing Jroensbane holding her daughter she had fire in her eyes as rage filled her
"Tell me what you need me to do"
her staff started to glow even brighter, her strikes will be even more powerful, one that no demon has ever lived through. She was ready and waiting for Sauriel

Jroensbane was actually having a lot of fun. The fire burning one arm with a freezing effect on the other created a perfectly nice middle temperature for the rest of his body.
He noticed that the angel and demon were concentrating their power levels, so he decided to employ a trick he'd once used against a local village to really rub it in. Ceasing his licks, he proceeded to advance towards them, swinging Nadia and Amelia around as though they were clubs.
"Guess I better try out these new shields!" he called to them. "See how much punishment they're up for!"

Round about forty or fifty of the demons that had accosted the stranger before now surrounded him in a tight circle two rows thick. As one, they drew their blades and attacked.

Moloch was having fun. So was RaVage. Maraud was not, and Cryth met his eyes.
Maraud's eyes instantly flicked to the champion, back to Maraud, then back to the champion again - a specific part of the champion. Cryth's eyes narrowed.
He's trying to tell me something he can't say out loud... but he hasn't got much on him! Just a loincloth and that's it, what's he looking at?

It was at this point Moloch became aware of what was going on other than the arena. He seemed delighted rather than afraid in any way. "Ah, two festivals."

The beams slammed into the champion with the force of a localized artillery strike, but whatever strange magic surrounding the champion prevented him from suffering any physical damage. The sheer output of energy shoved him roughly back across the sand, forcing him to drop the girls. It slammed him back against the walls of the arena, and tore his garment off him.
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!" he howled, and snarled viciously - the first time they'd seen him lose his cool.
When the sand cleared, where his genitals would have been was a hideous, deformed face and half a hand, the fingers curling and uncurling, magic winding around the fingertips.
"AAAAIIGH!!" it shrieked. "THEY HAVE EXPOSED US! KILL THEM ALL NOW!!"
Jroensbane roared and charged across the arena, his movement wild and unruly but his full powers now no longer kept on a leash. The ground trembled as he stomped towards them, and the sands turned white-hot under their feet.

"He's got more power than all of us put together," Cryth muttered, but Amelia's plight drew his attention. He ran to her, Jokan right behind with one eye on the rapidly charging champion.
"Are you ok?" he said urgently.

The bed tilted its head(board) to Semira and Sauriel, and something seemed different about it.
"Listen," it said quietly, yet firmly. "Get Nadia out of the blast radius. This is going to be big. Sauriel, get her back, Semira get back yourself. Trust me."

Jroensbane was livid and terrified beyond all reason, which of course only made him even more dangerous. His entire mindset was "bring all power to bear on closest thing" and right now Amelia was the closest enemy.
He altered direction and like a demonic bullet train was tearing across the arena at them - a demonic bullet train with the power to shrug off enough attacks to lay armies to waste and could disintegrate opponents with a single touch, Cryth thought to himself wryly as he and Jokan reached Amelia. Her ankle had been twisted in the fall, and she couldn't get up.
But neither boy even thought of abandoning her as the champion got closer and closer. They fell to their knees by her side and each grabbed a shoulder, thinking they could hoist her up. But it became clear they'd make it three steps before being trodden on and they looked at each other.
"Well... it's been fun."
"Not really."
"Nah."
They both put their arms around her and waited as one to be crushed into oblivion.

Nadia hung on when Sauriel grabbed her to get her to safety.
"Thank you"
she looked up and smiled at him

Semira extended her wings and took to the air getting away from the fight as the bed had told them to do


Amelia was unable to move even when Cryth and Jokan tried to help her she was unsuccessful
"Please just go, save yourselves"
She looked at Jroensbane who looked like a freight train coming straight for her. Her heart started racing and she started to panic knowing she will soon be probably dead. She clenched her eyes shut and and curled herself in the fetal position. Cryth and Jokan holding onto her. The ground and air around them started to get cold and her body let off white glow getting brighter and brighter. At this point Amelia was in tear and shaking as fear of death took over

The boys felt the freezing cold sweep over them, but closed their eyes tightly, wanting it to be quick, and somewhat grateful that the cold dulled the pain.
Around them, the strange aura that had formed only once before gathered swiftly and became a single pure-white tendril of energy that grew gently upwards from the ground, lazily waving at the air.
Jroensbane didn't really care or pay attention to it, he'd faced techniques miles more impressive and they'd been crushed, like their users, by his own power. He was also only a few meters away and raised his fists to crush it into paste.

What happened next was hard to describe, because there are very few words in the English language to convey exactly what did happen. The tendril seemed to bend, like a wilting flower, then the tip lashed out along the ground like a sudden gust of wind blew behind it.
Jroensbane reached out to swat the tentacle aside and... the closest words humans could have for it would be erased. The tendril erased the champion from existence without even seemingly registering contact, then seemed to almost absentmindedly pass through the wall at the other side of the arena before recoiling back, slicing the arena that had existed for longer than human civilization in half like a hot knife through butter.

Moloch's mouth fell open. "H...how...?"
He had been certain Jroensbane would triumph. The champion had beaten far more challenging opponents than mewling babes and arrogant fallen angels with their demonic harlots and bastard babes. But that... force had paid less attention to Jroensbane than he, Moloch, would to a grain of sand.
The tendril tilted his way and he tried to force himself to relax. There was a demonic barrier enforced by one of the great archdemons of hell, far far stronger than himself protecting him when he carried out such unholy duties in the name of Lucifer. It was impossible for whatever strange power three children - HUMAN children - had somehow conjured to possibly even dent the defenses of an ancient force that had been present at Hell's creation.

The tendril passed through the barrier like it wasn't even there and Moloch, RaVage and Maraud all dived off the podium right before its ashes mingled with the arena's sands. The three hit the ground and rolled, Moloch staring in terror and the two vampires regarding the apparition with wary caution. A moment later however, the tendril seemed to fizzle, waver in and out of focus, before finally dissipating and vanishing completely.

There was a very long silence.
Then the crowd that was still alive (only about a quarter of them, the rest had either perished at the hands of the stranger or been... removed by the tendril) burst into wild applause at the greatest show the arena had seen for quite some time.
Jokan, Cryth and Amelia had next to no idea what on earth just happened, and they were still huddled, waiting for the end. Cryth eventually peeked out though and saw that the champion had vanished and a massive chunk of arena was just gone.
"...Did we win?"

"Tell them nothing," the bed said softly to Semira and Sauriel. "You two, take all the credit. Just go with it."

Sauriel stared blankly at the scene that had just unfolded before his eyes.
"I can't believe that just happened. Or rather, I refuse to believe it."
The idea that a possessed bed could utterly destroy an opponent that he and his entire group had great difficulty keeping up with was as baffling as it was humiliating. Even so, he stepped forward and did what the bed told him and Semira to do.
"We have vanquished the champion of the arena! This tournament is over!"

Amelia laid still under Cryth and Jokan, she had over exerted herself and blacked out from the use of her powers, which she has no knowledge of using. She laid beneath them fast asleep looking as delicate as a child sleeping


Semira stepped beside Sauriel, she looked up at him and smiled then looked at Molach and the others
"Now that we have vanquished the champion, what comes next since we are now the new champions?"
she had hoped they would get information about their child


Victoria was still laying on the ground. She had healed from what was done to her but was still in excruciating pain, some from the damage and some from the hunger. She laid curled in a ball fighting her instinct to feed, her need too feed, fighting herself from letting lose and killing what remained of the onlookers of the arena. Remembering what Maraud had done to her earlier and what he said he would do if she lost control again. But the hunger was almost too much. Fighting the way she did, didn't help the situation for her either
